Jason Wu Designs Michele Obama's Inaugural Ball Gown

The Doll World's very Own Jason Wu of Integrity Toys was chosen to design the inaugural ball gown for First Lady Michele Obama. She's shone here wearing a white chiffon, one-shoulder gown covered in fluffy appliques and beading.

"It's soft, feminine, but powerful; I wanted to convey all that in a dress," Wu told The Associated Press of the ivory, one-shouldered dress embellished with Swarovski crystals and fabric petals. "I wanted it to look like a sign of hope."

New Year's Greetings from Ecuador

Our good friend and customer Galo, sent us greetings for 2009 and we thought we'd share.

The very fine dolls in the photos are "Off the Cuff" Monty and "In a Snap" Monty (Glenn's personal fave).

Galo told us that the guys are having a marshmallow party. The native costume worn by "Off the Cuff" Monty is super! Thanx Galo!!!
